Indications

Albuterol is a popular medicine that is widely known under the generic name of Albuterol and Ipratropium. Albuterol's main ingredients are known to relax the muscles in the organism's airways, thus improving breathing. Albuterol is also known to effectively prevent the narrowing of the patient's airways (therefore increasing the flow of air to the patient's lungs). Albuterol can also be indicated in order to prevent bronchospasm seizures.
Albuterol is mainly indicated in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disorders that are also known under the name of COPD. However, Albuterol might also be indicated to prevent or to treat some other medical conditions that have not been listed here. It may also be indicated for purposes other than those stated here.

Contraindications

You must not use Albuterol if you are suffering from a known allergic reaction to peanuts or to soybeans (this medical condition is widely known as soya lecithin allergy). Albuterol (Albuterol) is also not recommended if you are suffering from any of the following medical conditions:

- Glaucoma;

Intake Guidelines

When using the Albuterol nebulization, you should open only one ampule. Put the ampule in the drug chamber of the nebulizer. You must now attach the drug chamber to the mouthpiece and to the compressor. Sit in an upright but comfortable position. In order to inhale, you must place the medicine's mouthpiece into your mouth. To make sure that you have inhaled the entire amount of drug, you must breathe slowly and evenly. Stop breathing when the nebulizer is mist clear.

Dosage

Ask your doctor to tell you the correct dose of Albuterol that you should take in. Do not alter this dose in any way. Remember, the correct dosage can vary from one patient to another, as it depends on a variety of factors.

Overdose
